Challenges

• Poor quality data making tracing former member very difficult. 
• Ageing membership resulting in many cases to be subjected to Section 37C of the Pension Fund Act.
• Former members and beneficiaries are located in rural areas making access to technology complicated and lack of money to be able to obtain necessary documentation for claim payments.
